Idea to Startup Program is organized by IIM Udaipur Incubation Centre in collaboration with Moonpreneur, to virtually provide an amazing learning opportunity to participants.
The participants will be divided into groups, and each group will consist of 4-5 participants who will be assigned a mentor to guide them and help them work upon a mutually agreed problem statement.
The Idea to Startup Program is comprised of 12 different topics covering a host of concepts such as Business & Finance, Design Thinking, Idea Generation, Sales & Marketing, and Presentation as well as Communication Skills, and each of these topics is delivered by global industry experts. The sessions will help participants prepare and improve their pitch deck, which they will eventually present to a panel of the global jury in the pitchfest.

This program is open to highly innovative and scalable women-led technology startups. The accelerator program is best suited for seed to early-stage revenue generating tech startups registered in India with its founders and operations based out of India.
You can express your interest using the application form. The programme manager will then be in touch to let you know if you are invited to an interview as the next stage. In the interview, we will ask questions about yourself and your business to see if you are a good fit for the programme. After the interview, we’ll let you know if you have been selected to take part in the programme.
We will select up to 15 women entrepreneurs for the acceleration program through a two-stage competitive process. Part 1 of the process involves completion of the application form by a certain date, and Part 2 of the process involves interviews with the shortlisted candidates.

Like most early-stage programmes, IIMUIC cannot sign an NDA, but we won’t share any confidential information from the application process or interviews.
We understand how tricky it is to commit to recurring meetings when life is so busy. However, one of the most encouraging pieces of feedback we receive from entrepreneurs is that our programmes allow them to take a step back, to work on the business rather than in it. Therefore, we ask that participants attend at least 75% of all workshops and events.
The programme will be delivered through hybrid mode with 5 days of in-classroom workshops at IIM Udaipur Campus in August. The mentoring sessions and expert interactions will be held virtually. The final demo day bootcamp will be held either online or in-person at IIM Udaipur during the month of November.
Travel and lodging expenses for the 5-day workshops and demo day at IIM Udaipur campus shall be borne by the woman founder / co-founder or director (C-level) of the company who will be attending the in-person session at Udaipur.
Yes, there will be an in-person demo day where we invite our whole network of investors. What is more, there are also further opportunities to present your startup to our industry partners for strategic partnerships.
No. Our programmes provide support to entrepreneurs, but we don’t take any equity or stake in your business.
Yes, the selected Startup needs to pay a fee of ₹40,000 in the case of acceptance. Each Startup accepted into the program shall receive a cash grant of ₹50,000 upon successful completion of the program. Travel and lodging expenses shall be borne by the woman founder/co-founder or director (C-level) of the company who will be attending the in-person session at Udaipur.
After you finish the program, you will become part of the IIMUIC community. You can continue to interact with other entrepreneurs, join events, and share news and opportunities.
